At 12’ and 49lbs., the Loon 120 is perfect for those looking for a small lightweight kayak that is easy to carry and load on a vehicle, tasks too difficult for many with larger kayaks. The Loon 120 is also a great kayak for those who already own an entry-level kayak and wish to upgrade to a more efficient design. It's 28 3/4" width provides plenty of stability, while the lines of the Loon series provide improved tracking and efficiency over other entry-level kayaks. Our high back seat provides plenty of comfort and support. The folding seat back allows access to the rear deck for storage.The large cockpit allows plenty of room for comfort and ease of entry and exit.
The Loon 120 features Old Town's patented roto-molding process to produce a superior three layered linear polyethylene hull. This allows for a stiffer bottom and deck while reducing weight and omitting the need for a keelson. In addition, the foam core provides built in flotation, which also acts as insulation against both cold and noise.
